Writing Style

I work with each of my clients to achieve a writing style appropriate for each particular assignment, but I generally aim for smart, thoughtful writing that also feels clear and accessible. I believe words should carry their weight, longer certainly isn’t always better, and good writing energizes us. Like people, words get tired. I nudge them around and wake them up.

Editing Capabilities

I offer basic proofreading/copy editing services as well as more substantive editing services. For proofreading/copy editing, I charge reasonable rates by the page. For more substantive editing assistance, rates vary by the project. I am familiar with AP, MLA, and Chicago styles.
